In the heart of the story lies the suburban neighborhood of Novosady, with its original residents and the Šťastný family, who own an old general store. However, the character of this old town is changing. It's expanding with satellite neighborhoods, bringing new villas and residents who have significantly altered the once-trusting and somewhat old-fashioned atmosphere of the original community, introducing new themes, conflicts, and relationships.
