Peter Dougan Capaldi, né le 14 avril 1958, est un acteur, scénariste et réalisateur écossais. Il est notamment connu pour avoir incarné la douzième incarnation du Docteur dans Doctor Who et Malcolm Tucker, le spin doctor dans The Thick of It, pour lequel il a été nominé quatre fois aux British Academy Television Awards, remportant le prix de la meilleure performance masculine dans une comédie en 2010.
