Young mother Markéta struggles to care for her two children alone as her husband is frequently away on business. Just as she's dealing with a painter's ruined bathroom, she starts receiving anonymous notes accusing her husband of infidelity. A mouse appears in her apartment, and the insurance policies she keeps on the hallway table keep falling off. One night, a mysterious woman calls and claims to be having an affair with Markéta's husband. Markéta sets out to confront him but ends up in a minor car accident. Her husband dismisses her claims, thinking she's imagining things. As Markéta's mental state deteriorates, she reaches a crisis point... This psychological drama blends horror and reality, leading to an unexpected revelation at the end.
