**CCTV Spring Festival Gala 2017** The Central Television Station's large-scale variety arts gala, "CCTV Spring Festival Gala 2017," was held with four sub-venues in Liangshan, Shanghai, Guilin, and Harbin. Yang Dongsheng directed the event. The main venue was hosted by Zhu Jun, Dong Qing, Kang Hui, Zhu Xun, and Ni Ke Mai Di Re He Man. The East Shanghai sub-venue was hosted by Meng Shengnan and Cao Ke Fan, the South Guangxi Guilin sub-venue by Zhang Lei and Gao Feng, the West Sichuan Liangshan sub-venue by Yang Fan and Ah Hou Er Li, and the North Heilongjiang Harbin sub-venue by Guan Tong and Zhou Wei. The gala, themed "Great Beauty of China Dream, Golden Rooster Welcomes Spring," was divided into four chapters: "Joyous China Year," "Progressive China People," "Warm China Emotion," and "Great Beauty of China Dream." It created a lively and joyful atmosphere, celebrating the Chinese New Year with a sense of festivity and harmony. The performances expressed the sentiment of Chinese people reuniting with their families, fostering a strong sense of national pride and unity. The event showcased the spirit of renewal and celebration among people worldwide. The live broadcast began at 20:00 Beijing time on January 27, 2017 (the 30th day of the twelfth lunar month in the Year of the Rooster), on CCTV's Comprehensive, Variety, Chinese International, Military & Agriculture, and Children's channels. It was also simulcast on 157 countries' 221 platforms, and was simultaneously broadcast by China National Radio and China International Broadcasting.
