(ENGLISH) All Her Fault struck me as a very good miniseries, the kind that hooks you with a strong premise but does not rely on that hook alone. It begins by playing with a very basic and very recognizable fear, that something terrible might happen to a child, but what works best is that it develops everything with real control instead of simply piling up shocks or twists for the sake of it. What I liked most is the way it builds tension. The series knows how to pace information, open up suspicions, move its pieces around, and make every episode leave you wanting the next one. It is very well developed, because it never feels as if it is improvising as it goes along, but rather as if it knows exactly what it wants to tell and how to lead you there. In that sense it works very well as a thriller, but also as a character drama. The performances also carry a lot of weight. There are several very strong ones, and that becomes obvious immediately, because a story like this needs actors who can sustain pain, confusion, guilt, and also the darker sides of each character. Not everything depends on the mystery here, but on whether you believe the reactions, the silences, and the tension between people. The series handles that quite well. I also liked that the characters do not feel like simple pieces serving the suspense. There are conflicts, cracks, insecurities, and unresolved relationships that add more depth to what is happening. That makes the story more than just a “let’s see what happened” mystery and gives it a fairly solid emotional weight. At times, what it reveals about certain family dynamics is even more disturbing than the central mystery itself. I do not think it is perfect, because now and then you can feel it leaning on very familiar modern thriller mechanisms, and it sometimes pushes certain reveals a bit too hard. But it is so well handled, so well acted, and so well built in its progression that this matters less than it could. When a series gets you this invested in its game, it is already doing a lot right. In the end, it leaves the feeling of having watched a very effective, very tense miniseries that is more carefully made than most stories of this kind. It has suspense, it has characters, and it has performances that lift the whole thing. For me, it is clearly one of those series you watch in one sitting and feel was worth it.
