(CASTELLANO) Zoë Kravitz se lanza a la dirección con Parpadea dos veces y el resultado es una mezcla curiosa de thriller psicológico, sátira social y denuncia feminista. La película no siempre mantiene el rumbo con firmeza —a ratos se dispersa y puede dejarte un poco perdido—, pero cuando logra atrapar lo hace con fuerza. Lo que más llama la atención es la atmósfera: ese lujo envenenado que esconde secretos incómodos bajo su superficie brillante. La puesta en escena tiene momentos potentes, con imágenes diseñadas para incomodar, y aunque algunas decisiones parecen excesivas, sirven para remarcar la tensión creciente. Entre el reparto, Adria Arjona destaca especialmente. Tiene una presencia magnética que equilibra muy bien las escenas más oscuras con una vulnerabilidad creíble. A su lado, Channing Tatum se presta a un papel diferente al que nos tiene acostumbrados, aunque a veces se queda algo corto frente a lo que pide la historia. El guion no siempre consigue hilar todos los temas que plantea, y en algunos pasajes la película se siente más preocupada por impactar visualmente que por desarrollar a fondo a sus personajes. Aun así, es un debut con personalidad, valiente en sus intenciones y que deja claro que Kravitz quiere hablar alto y claro, aunque todavía le falte afinar la voz. Parpadea dos veces no es perfecta, pero tiene momentos que se quedan grabados. Es de esas películas que, pese a sus fallos, invitan a debatir después de verla. The visual design has strong moments, with images meant to unsettle, and even when some choices feel excessive, they help heighten the rising tension. Among the cast, Adria Arjona shines the brightest. She brings a magnetic presence, balancing the darker side of the story with believable vulnerability. Channing Tatum steps into a role unlike what we’re used to seeing from him, though at times he falls slightly short of what the story demands. The script doesn’t always manage to tie together all the themes it introduces, and in some passages the film seems more concerned with style than with fully developing its characters. Still, it’s a bold debut with personality, showing that Kravitz wants to speak loudly and clearly, even if her voice still needs refinement. Blink Twice isn’t perfect, but it has moments that linger. It’s the kind of film that, despite its flaws, sparks conversation once the credits roll—and that alone makes it stand out in a sea of disposable thrillers.
