Irene Cara Escalera (18 de marzo de 1959 - 25 de noviembre de 2022) fue una cantante, compositora y actriz estadounidense. Cara cantó y coescribió la canción Flashdance... What a Feeling de la película Flashdance. Ganó un Óscar a la mejor canción original como coautora.
