Pavel, a teenager grappling with his parents' divorce and his mother's new relationship, decides to escape to his grandmother's countryside home. However, he finds no solace there either. Four years have passed since he last saw his old friends, and he no longer fits in with their crowd. When his grandmother is hospitalized due to eye problems, Pavel is left alone at the cottage to face his feelings and find his place in the world.
