True and False Humor Master

In a city, two men named Xiao Guan, one a teacher and the other a comedian, live identical lives. The comedian, Xiao Guan, can't bear the endless harassment and decides to leave town for a while with his wife, Wen Jiamu, a beautician. However, he fears he won't be able to leave. Wen Jiamu, disguised as Xiao Guan, asks the teacher to attend a TV art show, as director Wu Dayong and stage manager Pang Tou are waiting outside. When the men wake up, they find themselves on a train to a distant city. Wu Dayong and Pang Tou, disappointed, meet the teacher on the street and mistake him for the comedian, dragging him to the TV station. Despite the teacher's protests, they insist he's the comedian and make him sign a performance contract. The teacher, Xiao Guan, is in urgent need of funds for his self-published academic work.
