Every hour, minute, second, our planet loses more and more unique animal species. The pursuit of profit, ignorance, and low tolerance, not only for one's surroundings but for the fragility of life and the planet's biodiversity, are the main reasons for these extinctions. Each episode of this series introduces viewers to the fate of one forever-lost species and the story of a related species that was saved in the nick of time. The culmination of this work is the return of these saved species to their original habitats, where conditions permit.
