In the bustling city of Cairo, the venerable Dr. Shaltout has a dream: to see his daughter Faten enroll in medical school. He announces his need for elderly professors, setting the stage for a unique ruse. Young medical student Hassan, disguised as an older man, captures Faten's heart. Meanwhile, Dr. Shaltout arranges a marriage with his widowed neighbor, Goziya, much to the delight of his colleague, Dr. Othman. In a daring move, Faten is kidnapped to force her father to abandon Goziya. The neighborhood unites with Hassan to rescue Faten and foil the plot.
