In the archives of Czech Television, we present an original TV drama exploring one of the tragic consequences of fascism - the story of a woman who makes a mistake, the repercussions of which she must bear for almost her entire life. The story takes us back to the 1960s. Accountant Vlasta Beková is unexpectedly arrested. An investigator informs her that she is accused of collaboration during the occupation. Her former lover, Tony, was a member of the Gestapo. Shocked, Vlasta protests her innocence, insisting she had no idea. Until now, she believed Tony was a resistance fighter who died in 1945 during a partisan operation. Now, Vlasta learns that Tony betrayed a partisan unit. She is confronted with the arrested Tony, who claims she was a knowing accomplice, which she denies. Ultimately, Vlasta is released due to lack of evidence. However, her husband cannot forgive her actions and leaves her. Heartbroken, Vlasta attempts suicide, but her son intervenes.
