Brechó Brasil

Olinda Aparecida Guedes Brasil transformed her house into a collection of lives as she collected clothes and objects over the course of twelve years. The thrift store is located on the edges of downtown Florianópolis, a decadent region of the city. An old building, with large and clean rooms, but cluttered with the most diverse items. Dona Olinda is the affective extension of this public, but very private, universe. Olinda takes from the world what the world gives and weaves it all in golden seams, giving life to impermanence of things.
