On a quiet highway, two drivers pull up beside each other, initiating a head-to-head race to determine who's the better driver. What starts as a simple challenge quickly escalates into a test of pride and determination, with each kilometer raising the stakes. "Back Seat" is Kárpáti György's early independent film, exploring themes of rivalry, the desire to prove oneself, and the limits of daring. Kárpáti György wrote and directed the film, later gaining recognition as the producer of "I Ran" and "Passionate Women".
