May 1st. Amidst the clashes at the head of the protest, in the midst of the chaos of tear gas and thrown stones, CRS officer Loïc Esquerré suffers a fatal fall. A shock to public opinion. A young black bloc activist, suspected of pushing the CRS officer, is quickly jailed: a convenient scapegoat. A blazing investigation begins for Myriam Ferraz, commander of the IGPN – the police's internal affairs unit. Convinced that Esquerré's colleagues are lying and that a miscarriage of justice is about to occur, Myriam turns to an unprecedented tool for the IGPN, one she knows is risky: undercover infiltration.
