Kurt Wallander, a seasoned detective, finds himself navigating unfamiliar territory - the digital world. A blood-soaked, damaged taxi is discovered, its driver missing. Two young girls confess to the murder but refuse to reveal the body's location. The next day, a man is found dead at an ATM, a bank statement clutched in his hand. Are these two cases connected? Wallander seeks answers, but he's struggling - he's unwell, dizzy, and must take a break to go to the hospital.
