In 2009, the covert international anti-monster unit, TLT, secretly battles Space Beasts, mysterious creatures threatening humanity. New recruit Kazuki Komon encounters one before his first day, but is rescued by a silver giant he dubs "Ultraman". Unbeknownst to all, this savior is Ultraman Nexus, prepared to defend Earth from the looming monster threat.
The drug that could save his life is on its way, but if Ren transforms into Ultraman before it arrives, he won’t live long enough to take it. Complicating matters is the fact that the Unknown Hand has created a deadly new Space Beast.
