Riku Haruma starts his high school journey without a clear future in sight. He's captivated by the wild movements of a student on the athletics field, who jumps higher and runs faster than anyone he's ever seen. That student is Akira Kariya, and the sport he's playing is one Riku tried his hand at in the past but eventually gave up: rugby. Seeing Akira run wild and unbridled, Riku can't help but approach him to offer some unsolicited advice.
