Interim Tribal Chief Samantha Woodburn battles political red tape and must prove herself among the old boys' club of the Metro Police. Navigating unfamiliar political and procedural waters, she faces her new partner, Chuck "Buke" Bukansky, a seasoned but troubled Metro detective. "Tribal" explores real-life-based crime stories of the First Nation, including mistaken identity, pipeline controversies, healing lodge justice, social services, tobacco, and missing indigenous people.
