Maksim, a talented chef in the past, is preparing for his wedding anniversary with his wife Larisa. However, Larisa returns from another business trip with unpleasant news.: she has fallen in love with someone else, is going to get a divorce and move with their nine-year-old son Anton to another city. Maksim is not ready to lose his son. However, in order to obtain custody, he needs a permanent job and his own apartment. He has neither one nor the other: to take care of Anton, he worked remotely, sold his apartment, and invested the money in his wife's business. Maksim is now forced to completely change his life. He gets a job as a chef at his former restaurant and moves into a new apartment next door to several charming and unmarried women.
