Petrov, a hardworking and dangerous job as a detective, ends each day with alcohol-fueled gatherings with colleagues. After a particularly heavy night, death appears in his dreams and warns that it will take him if he doesn't stop drinking. Petrov decides to quit alcohol and start a new life. He tries to repair his relationship with his ex-wife, but discovers that she doesn't return his feelings. He realizes that his daughter, now a high school student, has drifted away, and his mistress was only using him for personal gain. Petrov finds an unexpected solution to his personal problems while maintaining his sober lifestyle.
