In the late 1980s, architect Liu Haoming of Coastal City died in an unfortunate accident, leaving behind his one-year-old daughter Tingting, who went missing. Liu's friend and business partner, Summer Group manager Xiaopengfei, and Liu's wife Lin Huilan, formed a new family together. Tingting ended up in a remote mountain area, where she was adopted by the Du family and named Mingzhu. Twenty-two years later, Mingzhu, who had taught herself everything, got a job at Summer Group and reunited with her childhood friend Li Chuan, who had returned from studying abroad. Li Chuan repeatedly expressed his love for Mingzhu, but she always rejected him. Summer Group's driver Jiang Zhilin pressured his son Jiang Lei to marry Summer's daughter Xiaomeng. Building inspector Liu Haoyu uncovered Summer Group's embezzlement of funds, putting Xiaopengfei at risk of bankruptcy. Mingzhu's true identity was gradually revealed, and she and Li Chuan worked together to achieve their shared dream of becoming elite architects. Li Chuan's persistence finally moved Mingzhu, and the two of them started a new life together.
