A bunker

In an isolated bunker experiment, the military seeks to understand how survivors behave after a nuclear attack. Fourteen volunteers, seven women and seven men, spend a month cut off from the outside world, entirely dependent on each other. It's revealed that both the military and the scientists have an undercover agent among them, and that one of the group is a killer, another a feared writer. Young Freddie falls seriously ill with appendicitis, but Dr. Kern, their medic, is only a general practitioner, not a surgeon.
