Based on true stories, we follow Vera, Madalena, Conceição, and Gabriela, victims of domestic violence, as they reside in a Shelter House. Together, they rediscover their place in the world while striving for independence and security to restart their lives. Each episode focuses on one of the women and Joana, the psychologist supporting them. It's a personal sharing and a unique testimony of women who are more than their dramatic situation, yet can never forget it.
