Quarry

"Quarry" follows Mac Conway, a Marine returning home to Memphis in 1972 after serving in Vietnam. He finds his friends and loved ones rejecting him and the public now hating him. As Conway struggles to cope with his war experiences, he becomes increasingly entangled in a web of murders and corruption stretching along the Mississippi River. The Cinemax series, a subsidiary of HBO, is based on a collection of novels by American author Max Allan Collins. The cast is led by Logan Marshall-Green ('Prometheus'), Jordi Balfour ('Final Destination 5'), Peter Mullan ('Olive Kitteridge'), Nikki Amuka-Bird ('Luther'), Damon Herriman ('Justified') and others. The script is by Michael D. Fuller ('The Notebook', 'Rectify') and Graham Gordy ('Good Ol' Boy', 'My Dog Skip'), with John Hillcoat ('Lawless', 'The Road') directing.
