Morozov

The protagonist is a heavy smoker, living in a cheap, uncomfortable apartment. His wife left him, and his young girlfriend, Agata, is driven to distraction by his constant work and late-night calls to crime scenes. Despite this, he's an honest cop, dedicated to justice. Inspector Morozov may not have many stars on his uniform, nor does he frequent his superiors' offices, and he's known to curse, but he won't be bribed to close cases.
