Maiko, 24, has never been in a relationship. Her father arranges a meeting with Harumi, 44, a divorcee, for marriage. Initially reluctant, Maiko is smitten when she meets Harumi, drawn to his good looks and maturity. Harumi, pressured by Maiko's influential father, agrees to meet her but plans to decline the marriage proposal. However, he finds himself attracted to Maiko. After their third date, she presents him with marriage registration papers. Despite the 20-year age gap, Harumi and Maiko marry, and their life together begins.
