Café Kwanza

"Café Kwanza" is a comedy series created by actor and writer Matamba Joaquim, co-written with Miguel Paiva. The show revolves around Ti-Chico, Francisco Tchipa (Daniel Martinho), a former soldier who runs a small café in Barreiro, an area with a significant Afro-descendant population. Ti-Chico relies on his nephew Kiki and Lola, a hardworking and honest young woman raised in the neighborhood, for whom he has a soft spot. Together, they strive to keep the business afloat, a challenge given the café's eccentric clientele. The series offers a glimpse into the daily life of a small café, filled with diverse and charismatic characters who spark hilarious situations, all while the café's survival hangs in the balance.
