His egocentrism makes it hard for him to connect with others, both in and out of the workplace. A cold and solitary man, his only companion is his dog, Beethoven. After years abroad, he returns to his homeland to lead the orchestra of a small city. There, he meets violinist Du Ru Mi and a young trumpeter also named Kang Gun Woo, and his life takes an unexpected turn.
