After separating from her husband, Şebnem decides to stand on her own two feet as a dignified woman and not return to her father's house. Despite her plans to build a life with her son, her father Macit and brother İskender's constant interference makes this challenging. To top it off, Şebnem can't contribute even a penny towards the 45 million lira rent of her apartment, owned by the wealthy Reşat Nuri. Determined to pay her own way, Şebnem reaches out to all her "sisters" for help, outsmarting the men who underestimate her.
