A woman's body is discovered wrapped in a sheet, hung in a bag outside a dilapidated apartment building. A message claims responsibility for the crime: "Today, I caught a frog and conducted an experiment." Rookie detective Kotegawa Kazuya and veteran Watase of Saitama Prefecture's First Investigative Division are assigned to the case. The criminal is soon dubbed Frog Man, instilling fear in the locals. Can Kotegawa and Watase uncover the identity of the Frog Man and apprehend him?
