Docent

"Professor Stehlík, who spent his entire career teaching theory at the police academy, finds himself reassigned to Prague's criminal division, where he's persona non grata. His past actions of failing students and denying them credits have left a bitter taste among detectives, who refuse to work with him. As punishment, he's sent to the archives to solve cold cases."
