Cold Warrior

Cold Warrior is a 1984 BBC One television series written by Arden Winch, based around the character of Captain Aubrey Percival (Michael Denison), first introduced in the 1981 thriller serial Blood Money. Moving away from the serial format of Blood Money and Skorpion, Cold Warrior consists of eight standalone episodes, which sees Percival dealing with various threats to national security.

Radio producer Richard Ellison accuses, Armenian born, announcer Jane Minto of secretly passing messages to terrorists in Europe. Percival knows Minto is a double agent working for him and it's Ellison who is a KGB agent.

Episode 8. Hook, Line and Sinker

Debutante Sophy offers to help SIS after she meets a famous musician who works for the KGB. A plan to offer the Soviets a fake version of the Microfish system, designed by ex-boyfriend Frank Liscombe, backfires when he vanishes.
