In each episode, we follow three well-known Danes as they seek spiritual guidance for their present and future. They each have a question that no living person can answer, leading them to connect with loved ones who have passed. First, they meet guide Krumme Fredborg, a clairvoyant specializing in hand reading. Here, they create a blind drawing, allowing their subconscious to guide their strokes on paper. Krumme interprets the drawing to reveal the challenges they face in life and performs a hand reading to uncover their abilities, resources, and strengths. Next, they meet Sebbastian Lorantius, a clairvoyant medium specializing in contact with the deceased. Through him, they attempt to connect with loved ones or those with whom they shared a special bond. They also have the opportunity to ask these departed questions that could provide clarity on important aspects of their lives. The final guide in 'Nærkontakt' is Rikke Hertz, a coach and career counselor with clairvoyant abilities. She aims to paint a picture of the participants' possibilities and potential for the future. Moreover, she addresses the one question about the future – both personally and career-wise – that the celebrities bring to her.
