White Dwarf

In a far distant future, New York medical student Driscoll Rampart embarks on a clinical rotation at a medical clinic in Rustia, a rural planet with two opposing civilizations. One lives in a Victorian-style society, while the other is a tyrannical medieval kingdom. Unlike Earth, Rustia orbits through space, causing part of its surface to be permanently lit and the other half in constant darkness. On the light side, inhabitants are peaceful, while those in the dark live in a sinister, gothic splendor and are prone to violence.
