Widower Chen Nan (played by Chu Chih Yu) has been unable to let go of his late wife, Jie (played by Liao Yi Chiao), who remains tethered to him in the afterlife, unable to move on to her next life. At a company dinner, Chen Nan meets single mother Angela (played by Huang Pei Jia), and as a real estate agent, he offers her and her son temporary lodging in his home. Meanwhile, Jie, along with trapped souls Zhu Zhu (played by Gao Yi Ling) and Xiao Hua (played by Chen Liang Tong), watch over the living world from their spiritual realm.
