Leningrad, early 1990s. Popular singer Leonid Oreshnikov vanished while riding his bicycle during a music video shoot. Known for his adventurous nature, it's unclear if he ran away, was kidnapped, or if this is just a prank. Captain Pанин begins the investigation. The duo of writer Sergei Vysotsky and director Lev Tsutskulkovsky, known for their successful detective films like "Three Rainy Days" and "Habitat," present their final collaboration, "Third Take." The timely theme of abduction is explored by the experienced Vysotsky. Detective Pанин delves into the world of theatrical intrigue and bohemian filmmakers, fueled by jealousy of one another's success and material wealth. While many are decent people, they're reluctant to reveal their secrets, hindering the investigation.
