Andrea and Junior, a father and teenage son, are constantly at odds, their spats and deep misunderstandings marking their daily relationship. Junior is fascinated by the model of his grandfather Ettore, who is in prison, and criticizes his father for being weak in life's challenges. However, it is Ettore's legal troubles that have severely shaken the family's peace and well-being, which Junior's mother and grandmother strive to overcome, despite their differing views, to keep the family together. A journey suspended between present and past, dream and reality, provides an opportunity for an open confrontation and the start of a gradual reconciliation.
