The Express

Born into poverty, Ernie Davis overcomes numerous hurdles to join the football program at Syracuse University. Mentored by Coach Ben Schwartzwalder, he becomes one of the school's top players, even outshining Jim Brown. In 1961, Davis makes history as the first African American to win the Heisman Trophy, but his journey is far from over.
