In Buenos Aires, an unnatural black cloud brings 1600 days of relentless rain, as traffic and pedestrians inexplicably move backwards. Max (Eduardo Pavlovsky), an aging actor, struggles to keep his Mirror Theater afloat in a former fish market, facing potential demolition due to lack of funding. Max finds himself drawn to Brazilian dancer Fulo (Angela Correa), who grapples with concerns for her daughter back home. Meanwhile, political corruption and police brutality escalate, leading Max's elderly colleague Enrique to spearhead a protest for unpaid old-age pensions. The pensioners' successful demonstration yields a surprising revelation from a government official: there's no money to pay them.
