In the 1990s, in a remote, traditional village in Meizhou, a baby girl, barely a month old, was adopted by a farming couple. They named her "Xiao Cai Jin". The couple raised her with love and hardship, and though life was tough, they found joy in their simple existence. Xiao Cai Jin grew up to be a bright student. When she was ten, tragedy struck. Her adoptive father suffered a severe injury, adding to the family's financial struggles. He wanted to send Xiao Cai Jin back to her birth parents to spare her the hardship, but she refused to leave. Instead, she took on the responsibility of caring for her ailing parents, nursing them until their peaceful passing. With the support of her neighbors, Xiao Cai Jin overcame her difficulties and excelled in her studies, eventually securing a place in a prestigious high school. In 2010, she achieved her dream of becoming a torchbearer for the Asian Games.
