In this film, a former soldier, Zhang Wei, and a group of tourists find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival after their hot air balloon crashes in the snow-covered forests of northeast China. Zhang Wei, who had returned to his hometown to help develop the region, was working at a local scenic area when the group's balloon was caught in a sudden, violent storm. Stranded and injured, they must use their wits and courage to survive the harsh elements and a menacing pack of wolves. As they fight for their lives, they face unimaginable challenges and losses.
