A down-on-his-luck, unemployed film director, Jin-su (Song Sam-dong), has been trying to make his debut for four years. His first two scripts failed to secure casting or funding, and now he's in limbo, waiting for a decision on his third. One day, his old friend Tae-wook (Kim Jeong-tae), a small-time actor they met on a film set, shows up in an unlikely black sedan, convincing Jin-su to join him at the Busan International Film Festival. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Jin-su finds himself looking forward to the trip. However, their 2-day, 3-night journey is far from smooth sailing, filled with one misadventure after another that leaves little room for laughter.
