Dale and Ken Bullock should have been a happy couple, but their marriage is on the brink of collapse. Dale's refusal to give up her well-paying job to spend more time with Ken and their two children, Jimmy, 9, and Tommy, 6, has driven a wedge between them. They file for divorce, and the judge awards custody of the children to Ken. Dale realizes what she's lost but is too proud to say anything to Ken, whom she still loves. Ken, seeking the perfect wife to care for his children, becomes smitten with his secretary, Millie Lynch. But things aren't as they seem.
