Egg, who has severe hearing loss and mild intellectual disabilities, is sent to a home for the mentally impaired after losing the most important person in her life. Believing her father embarked on a similar journey along the coast, she enters this unfamiliar community alone. Today is Ham's birthday. He's been eagerly awaiting a change and for his mother to take him away, but days pass with no action. Confined to a secure room, Ham feels anxious and depressed until he meets Egg, who is attempting to escape. Together, they build an ark in an abandoned seaside house, hoping to sail back in time to the world's beginning.
