Silver Clouds

Young people return from a trip to Slapy to Prague. Only the painter Michal wants to stay and paint, so he remains at the cottage. An unknown young woman seeks refuge with him. She is Eva, the daughter of the eye clinic director Hostovský, who that morning was forced to marry her father's assistant, MUDr. Moravec. She fled from her unwanted husband. Michal lets her rest at his place. Eva returns to her father, but after an argument, she leaves home as well.
