Scratch

"Scratch" is a musical drama that traces the journey of Angelot, a young Haitian immigrant who, along with his parents and brother Frantz, arrives in Montreal in the '90s. While Frantz becomes entangled in gang-related crime, their father Saurel maintains a life of dignity driving a taxi. Years later, Angelot leads the hip hop group Lights and Shadows, funding their first album with his brother's illicit earnings. After a concert, a seemingly random bar fight leaves Angelot in a deep coma. During this time, he experiences a series of flashbacks revealing the origins of his troubled path.
