Marta, a young single mother, finds herself in a medieval castle to meet the family of her new partner, Giorgio. Due to his mother's illness, she is forced to stay longer than planned in this place that, instead of being charming, turns out to be a terrifying prison. Manipulation, threats, and poisonings drive the protagonist to want to escape her captors, but it's difficult for her to tell what's real and what's not.
