A sunny summer morning, actually everything looks the same as always. Linda is sitting at the breakfast table with her children. However, something has changed for months: Fritz, the father of the family, is sleeping in the mobile home in the garden. Linda hopes that everything will find its way again, but for her husband the signs are pointing to separation. Linda's pain turns to anger when she finds out that Fritz already has a new partner - and even the children know about it. It is clear to the three of them: Mama needs a "new one" too. With a fake account on the dating portal, Paula, Tim and Thorben start looking for candidates. However, the unsuspecting Linda has neither the nerve nor the need to be matched. It's already going better on its own than she actually wants. Even her best friend Carmen is astonished when Linda tells her about a spontaneous one-night stand and waking up in a shared flat. Thrown off track and a bit off track, Linda is now going her own way. Although she still misses her tidy life, Linda is finding more and more determination to shape her involuntary new beginning herself.
