
Kit barely remembers much about his native Vietnam. Upon returning to the Golden Star Land for the first time in over thirty years, he regards his surroundings as any Western tourist would, finding them as exotic as the language is incomprehensible. Kit's initial goal of finding a place to scatter his parents' ashes becomes a journey of rediscovering his roots and unraveling his complex and ambiguous identity, shaped by external circumstances.
